At Jeffrey Glassman Injury Lawyers, we believe that justice should never be lost in translation. We are one of Boston’s leading personal injury firms, and we are committed to ensuring that every member of our community—regardless of the language they speak—has access to world-class legal representation. We are looking for a high-energy, empathetic, and bilingual professional to serve as the bridge between our firm and the Spanish-speaking community.
The Spanish Community Ambassador is a multi-faceted role that combines legal intake, client advocacy, and community outreach. You will be the primary point of contact for our Spanish-speaking clients, ensuring they feel respected, heard, and informed from their very first phone call until their case is resolved. You aren’t just translating words; you are translating trust.
The First Impression: Handle all incoming Spanish-language inquiries. You will conduct the initial intake, listen to their stories with empathy, and determine if their case meets our firm’s criteria.
Client Advocacy: Act as a dedicated liaison for existing Spanish-speaking clients. You will explain complex legal milestones, assist with medical documentation, and ensure they are never "in the dark" about their case.
Cultural Translation: Assist our marketing and content teams to ensure our Spanish-language messaging is culturally resonant, accurate, and supportive (moving beyond "literal" translation).
Community Outreach: Represent the firm at local events, festivals, and community centers in Spanish-speaking neighborhoods to build brand awareness and organic trust.
Interpreting Support: Assist our attorneys during in-person meetings, depositions, or phone calls to ensure clear communication between the legal team and the client.
Lead Nurturing: Follow up with potential clients who may be hesitant to move forward, answering their questions and alleviating their concerns about the legal process.
Bilingual Mastery: Native-level fluency in both Spanish and English is non-negotiable. You must be able to speak, read, and write professionally in both languages.
High Emotional Intelligence: You will be talking to people on their worst days. You must be able to remain calm, compassionate, and professional under pressure.
Communication Skills: Strong telephonic and in-person communication skills. You should be able to explain the "legal world" in a way that is easy to understand.
Cultural Competency: A deep understanding of the diverse Latino cultures within the Greater Boston area (e.g., Dominican, Puerto Rican, Central American communities).
Reliability: A "fixer" mentality. If a client is confused, you don't stop until they feel confident.
Previous experience in a law firm, medical office, or social work.
Familiarity with Personal Injury law or the Massachusetts insurance system.
Experience in community organizing or grassroots marketing.
A Mission-Driven Career: You will be the hero for families who might otherwise be taken advantage of by insurance companies.
Growth Potential: As we expand our Spanish-language department, you will have the opportunity to take on leadership and management responsibilities.
Vibrant Culture: Join a team that values diversity, hard work, and the "Boston Strong" mentality.
Competitive Pay & Benefits: We offer a competitive salary, performance bonuses, and a full benefits package.
