Draper Dental, a well-established private dental practice in Draper, is excited to announce a full-time job opening for a Treatment Coordinator. This position is integral to our team and requires a dedicated professional who is ready to take on a pivotal role within our practice. This is an onsite role, thus it is not eligible for remote work. Outgoing and friendly Front Office Team Member wanted to join our low stress, highly positive dental team! We have a beautiful 7-operatory facility, currently staffed by one doctor and two hygienists. Our practice is devoted to delivering exceptional dental care, and we require a mature, compassionate, and experienced Treatment Coordinator to help us continue providing excellent service to our wonderful patients. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Effectively communicate with patients regarding treatment plans and dental care options.
  • Coordinate and schedule patients for various dental treatments, ensuring efficient use of practitioner's time and optimal care for the patients.
  • Discuss financial arrangements with patients, providing clear information about costs and payment options.
  • Lead and manage front office duties, ensuring a smooth operation of the dental clinic on a day-to-day basis.
  • Maintain patient records with accuracy and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Build and maintain healthy relationships with patients, ensuring a comfortable and caring environment for their treatment.
  • Monitor and manage inventory of dental office supplies and materials, ensuring they are stocked and used efficiently to avoid wastage.
  • Educate patients about proper oral hygiene strategies and preventative dental care.
  • Work collaboratively with dental practitioners and other staff to enhance service delivery and patient satisfaction.
  • Handle patient concerns and issues professionally and with empathy, providing solutions that align with the practice's policies.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Treatment Coordinator in a dental office.
  • Extensive knowledge of dental procedures, care options, and related administrative tasks.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, able to discuss treatment plans effectively with patients.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage numerous appointments and schedules smoothly.
  • Capability to handle financial discussions with ease and professionalism.
  • Commitment to uphold patient confidentiality as per HIPAA regulations.
  • Proficiency with dental office software and strong general computer skills.
  • Experience in leading a team and maintaining a harmonious work environment.
  • Empathetic and patient-oriented approach, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Minimum educational requirement: High school diploma or equivalent, with preference given to candidates possessing further certification in dental office management.
