Position Overview

The Reimbursement Specialist will be responsible for processing, tracking, and reconciling reimbursement requests, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, verify, and process employee expense reports and reimbursement requests.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.

• Accurately enter and maintain reimbursement data in accounting systems.

• Communicate with employees to resolve discrepancies or missing documentation.

• Collaborate with the Accounting and HR departments to ensure timely payments.

• Prepare regular reports on reimbursement activities and outstanding claims.

• Assist with audits, reconciliations, and continuous process improvements.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).

• 1–3 years of experience in accounting, payroll, reimbursements, or related financial operations.

• Strong knowledge of reimbursement policies, expense tracking, and compliance.

• Proficiency with MS Excel, accounting software, and HR/Finance systems.

• Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail.

• Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
