As a Nurse Supervisor, you will be at the heart of our clinical operations, contributing directly to the well-being of our clients and the efficiency of our healthcare delivery. Please note, this is an onsite position and is not eligible for remote work.

The Nurse Supervisor is tasked with overseeing our clinical staff to ensure that all care provided is safe, effective, and compliant with the highest standards. This position requires a proactive and thoughtful professional who can manage complex patient care dynamics while promoting a nurturing and supportive environment for both staff and patients.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Direct and oversee all aspects of nursing activities within the facility
  • Ensure the implementation of patient care plans and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams for holistic patient care
  • Manage and allocate resources effectively to ensure optimum utilization while maintaining high standards of care
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and internal policies
  • Assess, develop, and implement training and development programs for nursing staff to enhance their skills and performance
  • Perform regular evaluations of staff performance, providing feedback and mentoring to promote professional growth
  • Create and maintain a compassionate environment that supports both patients and staff
  • Participate in administrative duties, such as budgeting and health care planning
  • Address and resolve conflicts or concerns associated with staff or patient care
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers and administrators to streamline operations and improve service delivery
  • Prepare reports and maintain accurate records of clinical activities
  • Stay updated with advancements in the field and integrate modern practices to enhance service quality

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required; Master’s degree in Nursing or related field preferred
  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment
  • Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role
  • Demonstrable experience in managing teams and clinical settings
  • Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and accreditation standards
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Proven ability to oversee and train highly skilled nursing staff
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Compassionate and patient-focused approach
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills
  • Proficient in using healthcare software and systems
  • Commitment to ongoing educational and professional development
