Our well-established and privately owned dental office is seeking an experienced and highly organized Dental Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our busy and patient-focused dental practice in beautiful Fort Collins, CO. This role is vital in ensuring a smooth workflow, exceptional patient service, and a supportive environment for our clinical and administrative team.

The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with strong communication skills, business acumen, and a passion for creating an efficient and welcoming office experience.

Our perfect Office Manager will be:

  • A strong leader who can motivate and support both front and back office teams

  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, and an excellent communicator with strong time management skills

  • Confident in managing daily operations, schedules, and patient flow

  • Experienced in dental billing, insurance claims, and financial reporting

  • Proficient in dental software such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Open Dental

  • Skilled in handling patient concerns with professionalism and care

  • Comfortable with staff management, including hiring, training, and performance reviews

  • Knowledgeable about HIPAA, OSHA, and other healthcare compliance standards

  • A proactive problem-solver who stays calm under pressure

  • Friendly, approachable, and committed to creating a positive patient experience


This Office Manager position will include, but is not limited to:

  • Manage daily operations of the dental office, including front desk and administrative functions

  • Supervise and support front office and administrative staff

  • Coordinate patient scheduling, billing, insurance verification, and collections

  • Monitor office performance and implement strategies to improve efficiency

  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and other regulatory standards

  • Handle staff scheduling, hiring, onboarding, and performance reviews

  • Maintain inventory of supplies and manage vendor relationships

  • Collaborate with dentists and clinical staff to support overall patient care

  • Resolve patient concerns with professionalism and care

  • Track and report financial performance metrics to practice leadership

This position comes with the following compensation package:

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of dental office management or healthcare office leadership experience

  • Strong understanding of dental billing, insurance processes, and patient scheduling

  • Proficiency with dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental)

  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills

  • Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Knowledge of regulatory standards (HIPAA, OSHA)

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in healthcare administration or related field a plus
