Job Description
Insight Xcite is seeking a professional and mission-driven Customer Account Manager (CAM) to support a high-priority government customer in Fairfax, Virginia. This forward-facing role is part of the Sponsor’s CAM Team, which manages mission partner requirements, oversees projects, and ensures strong, ongoing relationships with each partner agency. Each CAM handles a portfolio of mission partners, delivering timely updates, managing funding, and helping projects move efficiently through the Sponsor’s processes. You’ll represent the Sponsor daily with the highest degree of professionalism while evaluating requirements, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring mission partners provide required quarterly funding for ongoing projects and services.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of mission partners as an account manager.
- Evaluate bandwidth and service requirements; provide cost estimates, timelines, and updates.
- Ensure quarterly funding from mission partners for all active projects and services.
- Maintain frequent and professional communication with mission partners and internal stakeholders.
- Gather and assess customer requirements; identify systems and network needs.
- Provide traceability between program documents, computing environment, and architecture.
- Prepare milestone status reports and deliverables to the Sponsor.
- Present updates to Sponsor leadership, internal colleagues, and end users.
- Update BOM, BOE, travel costs, and hardware cost estimates in ServiceNow (Sponsor oversight provided).
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (FSP) — required.
- Experience managing accounts in a cleared government contracting environment.
- Strong communication, relationship management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to represent the Sponsor professionally in a dynamic, mission-critical environment.
- Experience with cost estimation tools and ServiceNow is a plus.
