What are we looking for?
We are seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Business Development Representative to help drive growth in the U.S. market. As a Business Development Representative, you’ll take ownership of the sales process, primarily at lead generation, to build strong relationships with prospects and clients. Your efforts will set the stage for successful partnerships, showcasing Teeptrak's innovative solutions to manufacturing companies across the U.S. You’ll also have the opportunity to take initiative, adapt to evolving responsibilities, and wear multiple hats to meet the demands of a fast-growing company.
What will you do?
- Proactively generate high-quality leads through outreach via phone, email, LinkedIn, and other channels to build a strong sales pipeline.
- Research and qualify prospects, identify key decision-makers, and nurture relationships to build a sustainable pipeline for the sales team.
- Effectively communicate Teeptrak’s unique value proposition to potential clients, addressing questions, overcoming objections, and building trust.
- Work closely with sales, marketing and support teams to schedule meetings, demos, and calls with qualified prospects, contributing to Teeptrak’s overall growth strategy in the U.S.
- Assist with smooth onboarding and integration of Teeptrak’s solutions to maximize customer satisfaction and long-term success.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by proactively addressing their needs, resolving issues, and fostering strong, long-term relationships.
- Maintain accurate records of interactions, progress, and key performance indicators (KPIs) in our CRM system, ensuring data integrity for ongoing strategic planning.
- Continuously enhance your understanding of Teeptrak’s products and the manufacturing industry to better position our solutions and provide more value to both prospects and clients.
- Provide valuable insights to shape and implement sales strategies that align with Teeptrak’s long-term vision for success in the U.S. market.
- Navigate the uncertainties of a growing company by thinking critically, adapting quickly, and implementing creative solutions to drive results.
- Contribute to the team’s growth by sharing insights, best practices, and continuously enhancing your understanding of our solutions.
What do you need to have?
Base qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in sales, business development, or a customer-facing role, preferably in a B2B environment.
- Strong communication skills, with the resilience to overcome challenges and address objections. with positivity.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage prospects and clearly articulate value proposition.
- Ability to quickly understand, discuss, and convey technical concepts and products in a relatable way to prospects.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving environment where priorities may shift.
- Willingness to learn, grow, and accept feedback to continuously improve performance.
- Highly organized and self-driven, with excellent time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Demonstrated interest in the manufacturing, industrial, or technology sectors.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cold outreach, lead generation, and lead qualification
- Experience with outreach and sales tools (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, etc.).
- Experience in industry networking, including tradeshows, seminars/webinars, and social events
- Previous experience in the manufacturing, industrial or technology sectors.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.).
