We are seeking a dependable and versatile individual to join our team as a Commercial Roof Technician & Property Maintenance Specialist. In this position, you’ll support the upkeep and smooth operation of commercial properties and assist our Operations Team as needed.
Your role includes a mix of commercial roof repairs, general property maintenance, and support tasks for the Operations Team. The ideal candidate is adaptable, eager to perform a variety of tasks, and committed to quality work.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform roofing repairs and routine maintenance on commercial buildings—mainly single-ply membrane systems and general roof upkeep.
- Complete a range of commercial property maintenance duties, which may include lawn care, minor repairs (e.g., changing light bulbs, repairing fixtures, general construction work), and occasional facilities tasks.
- Clean and maintain company offices, vehicles, and shop areas as needed.
- Assist with inventory control, organizing materials, and basic warehouse work.
- Support special projects for the Operations Team, such as minor carpentry, construction work, or making property improvements.
- Conduct routine property inspections, identify and report areas needing attention, and address issues as they arise.
- When qualified, assist project management staff and occasionally meet with clients regarding commercial roofing service and repairs.
- Maintain a safe, organized work environment and adhere to all company safety protocols.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Experience in commercial roofing, property maintenance, or general construction (preferred).
- Ability to perform physical work, including lifting up to 100 pounds, working on ladders and commercial rooftops, and operating hand and power tools.
- Willingness to handle a wide variety of tasks as needed within commercial facilities—both indoor and outdoor environments.
- Valid driver’s license (preferred) and reliable transportation (required).
- Srong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good communication and basic problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility to travel to commercial work sites—using company vehicles—including occasional overnight stays, extended hours, or weekend work as required.
- Experience with commercial property maintenance or minor facility repairs (preferred).
- Experience supporting project management on commercial jobs (preferred).
- OSHA or relevant safety certification (a plus).
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) (a plus).
