F&I Manager (Automotive)

About the team and position:

MYCAR is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced individual to join our team as Automotive Finance Manager. The Automotive Finance Manager will play a key role in developing and maintaining all aspects of financial analysis related to MYCAR’s vehicle sourcing programs, as well as supporting MYCAR’s relationships with key industry partners. Most importantly, you will see your insights have an immediate, tangible impact every day in a well-funded and rapidly growing company. 

What you’ll be doing:

• Finalize new deals by presenting and selling finance products, extended warranties, and related offerings.

• Maximize finance income from every retail transaction.

• Review and verify all deal documentation, including cash, finance, and loan agreements, for accuracy and compliance.

• Ensure all funds are collected and contracts are completed at the time of deal closing.

• Obtain lender approvals for all finance and lease transactions.

• Maintain a strong understanding of lease structures and related processes.

• Support the sales team by securing lender approvals and managing finance applications.

• Stay current on all financing programs, interest rate structures, and incentive options offered by partnered lenders.

• Proactively offer and promote extended service contracts and protection plans to customers.

• Process cancellations for extended warranties, GAP coverage, and other related products as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous automotive Finance experience.
• Proficient at structuring deals for maximum profitability.
• Well-versed in title laws and the registration process.
• Professional personal appearance and extraordinary verbal/written communication skills.
• Expertise in negotiation and presentation skills.
• Authorized to work in the USA.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background screening, Motor Vehicle Record check, and drug test.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

What you should have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Science, Economics, Statistics, or Finance is required. 
• or 5 years of auto finance experience.
• Goal-oriented, enthusiastic, and self-motivated with the ability to interact and communicate with all levels of the organization.
• Knowledge of statistics and regression analysis.
• Introductory programming course completion is preferred.
