Total Veterinary Care in Cicero, NY (just outside of Syracuse) is looking for a full-time, LICENSED veterinary technicians to join our dynamic, fast-paced day practice. We are seeking reliable, self-motivated, and engaged individuals to enhance our team.

COMPENSATION:

• Hourly rate: $23.50 - $28.50/hr. ($48,880 - $59,280, based on a 40-hour work week)
• Sign-on bonuses for the first 2 years

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must hold a valid Veterinary Technician license in New York, OR have passed the VTNE and be eligible to obtain an NY license. Proof of license or passing VTNE score is required. (Recent graduates of an accredited veterinary technology program, who have not yet taken the VTNE, may also be considered!)
• Required skills: Blood draws, IV catheter placement, anesthesia and surgical assistance, microchipping, dental work, radiology, lab work, nail trims, the ability to maintain accurate medical records, able to prepare medications and explain their use to clients, etc.
• Strong communication skills are essential.
• Adaptability to new technologies and best practices.
• Ability to be an effective leader, mentor, and team member.
• Available to work during regular office hours, Mon-Sat, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (We offer a rotating Saturday schedule for all employees.)
