Job Description

Folsom Family Dentistry, a well-established private dental practice situated in the heart of Boulder, is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our professional team. This part-time position offers a unique opportunity for a dynamic dental professional looking to contribute to a thriving practice. It is important to note that this is not a remote job; the successful candidate will be required to work onsite at our fully equipped dental practice.

This role requires an individual who is proficient in general dentistry procedures and is committed to providing exceptional dental care. Procedures include bread and butter dentistry, extractions, endodontics, and implant placement. The candidate is eligible to receive Continuing Education stipend upon approval by owner doctor. The successful applicant will start by working 1-2 days a week, with a flexible schedule tailored to accommodate the practice’s growing needs. There is potential for this role to evolve into a full-time position, extending to 4-5 days a week, depending on the candidate's performance and the growing needs of our practice.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient exams and develop dental treatments plans.
  • Perform general dentistry services, including diagnostics, preventive, restorative, and aesthetic procedures.
  • Ensure strict compliance with all health and safety regulations, including sterilization and infection control practices.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, providing education on oral health practices and treatment plans.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in accordance with privacy regulations and clinic policies.
  • Collaborate with dental staff on management of patient treatment plans to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and training to remain current with industry trends and advancements.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall improvement of the practice.
  • Provide emergency dental services when needed.
  • Use dental technology and equipment proficiently with an emphasis on patient comfort and efficacy of treatment.

Requirements

  • Licensed Dentist in the state of Colorado, in good standing with the dental board.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of dental procedures, tools, and diagnostics.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, adept at patient management and care.
  • Ability to make thoughtful decisions under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility with schedule to meet the operational needs of the practice.
  • Experience in using digital dental records and information systems.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on ethics and professionalism in all aspects of dentistry.
  • OHSA and HIPPA training will be provided to ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory compliances.
  • Paid upon percentage of adjusted production, with a rewarding structure designed to incentivize exceptional care and patient satisfaction.
