Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician assists with repairs and improvements of occupied and vacant homes, as well as the general maintenance and upkeep of buildings, grounds and equipment.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
Completing assigned maintenance tickets in a timely manner
Mowing, edging, spraying for weeds
Plumbing
Utilizing knowledge of general maintenance protocol
Assisting with mobile home turns as tenants move in and out
Painting
Light electrical
Park cleanup
Will rotate to take and address after-hours emergency calls
Devotes all working time, attention, knowledge, and skills to Employer's business interests in good faith, with best efforts, and to the reasonable satisfaction of the Employer
Performs duties customarily performed by other persons in similar positions and additional duties assigned by the Employer
Position requirements may be adjusted by the Employer to meet business needs
Physical Demands and Working Conditions/Environment
Maintains regular and predictable attendance
Capable of working up to 4+ hours per day, with occasional longer days if needed to address emergencies.
Capable of climbing, kneeling, crouching, bending, crawling, pushing, pulling and lifting up to 50+ or more without assistance
Capable of operating mower, weed eater, other lawn care machinery, backhoe and similarly sized machines, and other equipment needed to repair and refurbish mobile homes
Additional physical demands include being outside and walking across communities in various weather conditions, being on foot for an extended period of time, walking up and down stairs, and climbing ladders
