Location: Field-Based (Greater Seattle Area, WA) 

Employment Type: Full-Time Compensation: $35,000 – $45,000 Base + Rewards 

On-Target Earnings: $55,000 – $85,000+ (Uncapped)

Role Overview

We’re looking for a driven Outside Sales Representative to join Washington Landscaping, a division of United Services Northwest.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a field-based sales environment, enjoys meeting customers face-to-face, and wants uncapped earning potential. You’ll be responsible for generating leads, meeting with homeowners and property managers, and closing landscape and lawn care services.

Key Responsibilities

Field Sales & Customer Acquisition

  • Meet with residential and commercial customers to assess property needs
  • Provide on-site estimates for landscaping, lawn care, and related services
  • Present solutions clearly and confidently to close new business
  • Generate new leads through door-to-door outreach, referrals, and follow-ups

Pipeline & CRM Management

  • Track leads, opportunities, and customer interactions in CRM systems
  • Maintain detailed notes and manage follow-ups to close deals
  • Stay organized and manage multiple prospects simultaneously

Revenue Growth & Account Development

  • Upsell and cross-sell additional services (landscaping, tree services, roofing where applicable)
  • Build long-term relationships to drive repeat and referral business
  • Hit and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets

Professionalism & Brand Representation

  • Represent the company professionally in the field
  • Maintain a strong personal presence and communication style
  • Utilize company tools and systems to maximize performance

Required Qualifications

  • Previous outside sales experience (landscaping, lawn care, home services, or similar preferred)
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout service areas
  • Comfortable working outdoors and in a field-based environment
  • Self-motivated with strong time management and organization
  • Tech-savvy with ability to use mobile apps and CRM systems
  • Must be 21+

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

  • Experience in landscaping, horticulture, or home services sales
  • Familiarity with property measurements and estimating
  • Experience using sales tools or CRM platforms
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

Work Environment

  • Field-based role with travel across Snohomish, King, and surrounding counties
  • Flexible schedule with a mix of appointments and self-generated leads
  • Outdoor work in varying weather conditions

Day in the Life

Your day starts by reviewing your pipeline, appointments, and follow-ups. You’ll spend most of your time in the field—meeting customers, walking properties, measuring spaces, and presenting solutions.

Between appointments, you’ll follow up with leads, update your CRM, and continue building your pipeline. Success in this role comes from consistency, strong communication, and the ability to confidently close deals.
