United Services Northwest is a fast-growing, multi-service company operating across Washington State, specializing in tree services, construction, landscaping, roofing, and municipal contract work. As we expand into public-sector projects, we are seeking a detail-oriented specialist who understands MRSC Rosters, public works contracting, and Washington state procurement requirements.

Position Overview

We’re looking for a Contract & Compliance Specialist to manage and streamline our MRSC Rosters enrollment, updates, qualifications, and contract submissions. This role focuses on ensuring our company meets all regulatory, documentation, and compliance requirements so we can bid confidently and efficiently on public-sector jobs.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain our MRSC Rosters profile, classifications, and eligibility requirements
  • Prepare and submit required documents (licenses, insurance, SAM.gov, UBI, W-9, etc.)
  • Assist with public-works compliance, reporting, and state-specific documentation
  • Ensure all certifications (e.g., contractor licenses, safety certifications, L&I, bonds) remain valid and up to date
  • Monitor and update procurement paperwork, templates, and supporting documents
  • Prepare bid packets, upload required attachments, and organize all supporting materials
  • Maintain an organized system for contracts, renewals, and agency-specific requirements
  • Research upcoming contract opportunities and help ensure readiness for submissions
  • Communicate with cities, counties, and agencies for clarifications or required updates
  • Assist with onboarding for other rosters (City of Seattle, King County, Sound Transit, etc.)

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience with MRSC Rosters (required or strong preferred)
  • Understanding of Washington State public-works requirements
  • Experience preparing or reviewing contracts, RFP/RFQ/RFB responses, or compliance documentation
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple submissions at once
  • Familiarity with tree services, construction, or municipal contracting is a plus
  • Clear and professional communication skills

Hours & Compensation

  • Flexible hours (5–10 hours/week to start, may grow)
  • Contract or hourly position based on experience
  • Remote with occasional in-person meetings if needed
  • Pay: DOE – competitive and negotiable
