Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Non-CDL Truck Driver to join our team on a part-time basis. This role involves operating a chip truck and trailer to transport materials such as wood chips, mulch, and other related items. The driver will also assist in moving brush and debris from job sites. This position will always start out of our Bothell, WA location.
Note: Due to insurance requirements, candidates must be over the age of 25.
The ideal candidate will have a clean driving record with no tickets or at-fault accidents in the past 3.5 years, a solid understanding of safety protocols, and a strong work ethic. As this is a part-time position, flexibility in scheduling is a must.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive Chip Truck and Trailer: Safely operate a chip truck and trailer to transport wood chips, mulch, and other materials to designated locations.
- Brush Removal: Assist in loading, unloading, and moving brush and other debris from job sites. Ability to lift, move, and stack brush is required.
- Pre-Trip Inspections: Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle and equipment are in safe, working order before leaving the yard.
- Transport Materials Safely: Ensure materials are transported securely, avoiding damage and ensuring safety on the road.
- Follow Safety Protocols: Adhere to all safety guidelines and traffic laws, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary.
- Communication: Maintain clear communication with the dispatch team and other crew members to ensure efficient operations.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Report any maintenance issues or damage to vehicles in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license (Non-CDL required).
- Must be over the age of 25 (due to insurance requirements).
- Clean driving record: No tickets or at-fault accidents in the past 3.5 years.
- Previous driving experience, preferably with trucks and trailers, is a plus.
- Ability to lift and move brush and debris weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to safety and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills.
- Reliable transportation to Bothell, WA for daily start.
Work Schedule:

- Typically, shifts will start from Bothell, WA, with routes scheduled during daylight hours.
- Flexibility with hours is required, including some weekends depending on project requirements.
