Tree Climber / Climbing Arborist

Washington Tree Services offers year-round, full-time work with consistent hours and the opportunity to be home every evening. Our crews work approximately 38–40 hours per week and are supported by a professional team focused on safety, efficiency, and quality results. Primary Responsibilities
- Safely and successfully complete all tree climbing, pruning, and removal operations
- Apply proper tree care principles, pruning standards, species identification, and disease recognition
- Utilize modern climbing and rigging techniques, including both SRT and DRT methods
- Perform close-quarter removals safely and efficiently
- Demonstrate knowledge of aerial rescue, PPE, hazard awareness, emergency procedures, and Dig Alert protocols
- Maintain strong physical endurance and performance throughout an 8-hour workday
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring every client interaction is handled with professionalism and care
- Arrive on time, follow company dress code and attendance policies, and complete assigned tasks promptly
- Work safely in all weather conditions and tolerate noise from saws, chippers, and other machinery (hearing protection required)
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Range: $300 – $450 per day (DOE)
- Pay Schedule: Weekly (every Friday)

Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of professional tree climbing and pruning experience
- Knowledge and experience with SRT and DRT climbing techniques
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
