Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and dependable Personal Assistant to support both household management and business operations. This role combines administrative responsibilities with day-to-day personal support tasks. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to manage a wide variety of duties including scheduling, administrative work, household chores, cooking, and organizing.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative & Office Support
Manage daily scheduling, appointments, and reminders.
Coordinate business and personal calendars.
Handle incoming phone calls, emails, and messages; respond professionally and relay important information.
Assist with website updates, computer work, and online tasks.
Maintain filing systems (digital and physical), records, and documents.
Draft correspondence, reports, and simple presentations as needed.
Assist with errands, purchases, and vendor coordination.
Household & Personal Support
Keep living and working areas organized, tidy, and well-maintained.
Perform cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and general upkeep.
Handle laundry (washing, drying, folding, ironing, and organizing).
Prepare simple meals and snacks, following dietary preferences if provided.
Grocery shopping and kitchen organization.
Assist with home organization projects (closets, storage, office space, etc.).
General Support
Proactively anticipate needs and take initiative to handle tasks.
Manage travel planning and itineraries (if needed).
Provide event/meeting preparation support.
Ensure a high level of confidentiality, professionalism, and discretion.
Qualifications & Skills
Proven experience as a personal assistant, administrative assistant, or similar role.
Strong organizational and time-management skills; ability to prioritize tasks.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and general computer skills.
Comfort with website updates, email platforms, and basic tech troubleshooting.
Ability to cook simple, healthy meals.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
Trustworthy, dependable, and able to maintain confidentiality.
Flexible and adaptable to shifting priorities.
Work Environment
This role involves both remote/computer-based work and in-person household support.
Must be comfortable multitasking between professional and personal tasks.
Requires physical activity such as light cleaning, lifting laundry, and organizing.
Compensation & Schedule
Schedule: Full-time or part-time depending on candidate availability and employer needs.
