We’re seeking a hardworking and safety-minded Tree Groundsman to support our climbing crews and equipment operators. This is an essential role on every job site and a great entry point into a career in professional tree care.

  • Operate chippers, chainsaws, blowers, and other ground-level equipment safely.

  • Load, haul, and chip brush, logs, and debris.

  • Maintain a safe and organized worksite by clearing hazards and directing pedestrian/vehicle traffic if needed.

  • Perform basic equipment and tool maintenance (fueling, sharpening, cleaning).

  • Follow all safety protocols, use PPE, and participate in daily safety briefings.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in tree work, landscaping, or outdoor labor preferred but not required (will train the right candidate).

  • Strong work ethic and ability to perform physically demanding labor in all weather conditions.

  • Team-oriented attitude with good communication skills.

  • Valid driver’s license required; CDL Class B preferred but not required.

  • Interest in advancing into climbing or equipment operation a plus.

What We Offer

  • Competitive hourly pay (based on experience).

  • Year-round work with steady hours.

  • Safety-first culture with high-quality gear and equipment.

  • Career growth within a family of companies under United Services Northwest.
