We’re currently seeking a Billing Supervisor to lead our billing team in delivering a great customer experience across our healthcare clinics!

What you'll do at work:
Assign, oversee, and support execution of AR tasks with a focus on timely insurance and patient-related collections.
Actively manage insurance and patient-related collections activities, including outreach, payment processing, payment plan oversight, and resolution of outstanding balances.
Track and analyze revenue cycle KPIs and AR metrics to ensure progress toward company-defined collections and financial performance goals.
Collaborate with billing team members to assign, monitor, and adjust AR and collections tasks for consistent progress and accountability.
Generate regular AR and collections reports and work with supervisor to identify trends, performance gaps, and areas for process improvement.
Implement strategies for aged AR, including prioritizing high-balance or long-outstanding accounts and coordinating with external collections when necessary.
Serve as the primary point of contact for client-facing billing questions, concerns, and escalations.
Conduct AR and related billing audits under supervisor direction to ensure accuracy, compliance, and policy adherence.
Supervise, train, and provide ongoing feedback to collections and revenue cycle staff to support development and performance standards.
Oversee denial management workflows, including timely follow-up, appeals, and root cause analysis to minimize denials.
Review and approve charges to ensure accuracy and compliance with payer rules and coding guidelines.
Ensure accurate and timely posting of payments, adjustments, and write-offs to maintain clean AR records.
Requirements: -No suspension/exclusion/debarment from participation in federal health care programs (e.g., TriWest, TRICARE, Medicare, Medicaid, SCHIP, etc.). -Provide current level 1 fingerprint clearance card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety and renew as applicable, ensuring continuous coverage. -Continuously maintain active Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and First Aid certification if working in an office setting. Qualifications Include: -Minimum of two (2) years of healthcare billing experience in medical, dental, or behavioral health billing. -Proven experience in collecting, managing, and supervising insurance and patient balances and managing accounts receivable (AR) workflows. -Working knowledge of health insurance programs, third-party reimbursement, co-pays, deductibles, authorizations, and timely filing requirements. -Familiarity with ICD-10, HCPCS, and CPT coding systems. -Experience using electronic health records (EHR).
