Siouxland Youth For Christ (SYFC) is seeking an Executive Director to spearhead our mission of reaching young people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. What You'll Do: Lead with Vision & Purpose
As Executive Director, you'll be the driving force behind SYFC's mission, overseeing all facets of our ministry.
● Visionary Leadership:
- Craft and communicate a compelling vision that aligns seamlessly with YFC USA's national mission.
- Collaborate with the SYFC Board to develop and execute a robust 3-5 year strategic plan, alongside annual marketing and operational blueprints.
● Team & Ministry Development:
- Recruit, train, and passionately coach a diverse team of staff and volunteers to deliver impactful youth ministry programs like Campus Life and City Life.
- Partner effectively with the SYFC Board, ensuring strong governance and ongoing organizational development.
- Champion spiritual growth through engaging staff training, transformative retreats, and unwavering adherence to YFC USA standards.
● Resource Stewardship:
- Oversee and manage the annual budget (July–June fiscal year) with the Board, ensuring robust financial health and sustainable growth.
- Lead comprehensive fundraising efforts, actively employing YFC’s "Find, Win, Keep, Lift" approach, and cultivating strong relationships with 50-75 key donors.
- Ensure operational excellence, successful donor events, and full compliance with all YFC standards.
● Community Engagement:
- Serve as SYFC’s primary spokesperson, building vital relationships with local churches, schools, and community partners.
- Cultivate strategic alliances and enhance SYFC’s visibility through engaging newsletters, effective media outreach, and impactful speaking engagements.
● Spiritual Leadership:
- Consistently seek God’s guidance and wisdom through prayer for SYFC’s strategic direction and daily operations.
- Lead staff and board in prayer, devotion, and impactful Bible teaching, modeling Christ-centered values in all interactions.

What You'll Bring: Your Expertise & Heart
- Leadership Acumen: Significant leadership experience (5+ years preferred) in a youth-serving organization, demonstrating expertise in strategy development, team management, and successful fundraising.
- Financial Stewardship: Proven financial acumen, with a strong ability to manage complex budgets and cultivate donor relations effectively.
- Exceptional Communicator: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, comfortable leveraging technology (e.g., Google Drive) to enhance collaboration and outreach
- Passion & Integrity: A deep passion for youth ministry, unwavering integrity, and a collaborative leadership style that embodies YFC’s core Cultural Attributes.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Faith Foundation: Active church involvement and a demonstrated ability to share the Gospel effectively are strongly preferred.

- Competitive Salary: Starting at $80,000, with potential to increase based experience, plus a $4,800 annual field/travel allowance (covering cell phone and mileage).
