This is a full-time position located in our bustling office; please note this is not a remote job. As a Benefits Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing expert advice and guidance on various insurance and benefit packages. With the security of inbound leads, you are poised to focus on delivering quality without the pressures of cold calling or soliciting to your personal network. Key Responsibilities

  • Educate clients on available health, life, disability, supplemental, and retirement benefit plans.
  • Guide customers through benefit options and assist with enrollment processes.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant records using CRM and enrollment platforms.
  • Provide excellent customer service before, during, and after plan selection.
  • Ensure clients fully understand their coverage, rights, and responsibilities.
  • Stay updated on benefit policy changes, compliance, and state/federal regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
  • 1+ years in HR, benefits coordination, insurance, healthcare, or employee support services.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking ability.
  • Proficient with computer systems, data entry, and CRM platforms.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with sensitive client information.
  • Must Have reliable Vehicle 

Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Have)

  • Previous experience as a Benefits Specialist, Insurance Agent, or Enrollment Advisor.
  • Active Life & Health Insurance license (or willingness to obtain – training provided).
  • Bilingual (Spanish, French, Mandarin, etc.).
