Olentangy Modern Dental is looking for a full-time Dental Assistant to join our growing team!

About the Position

Our Dental Assistants work closely with our doctors and team to provide an exceptional experience for every patient. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys staying busy, takes initiative, pays attention to the details, and genuinely enjoys working with people.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting the doctor during restorative and cosmetic procedures

• Preparing treatment rooms and maintaining proper sterilization protocols

• Taking digital X-rays

• Taking digital impressions and scans

• Assisting with CEREC crowns and same-day dentistry

• iTero scanning

• Assisting with composite restorations, crowns, bridges, implants, and cosmetic procedures

• Reviewing post-operative instructions with patients

• Maintaining accurate patient records

• Keeping operatories stocked, organized, and ready for patients

• Supporting the clinical team throughout the day

• Helping create a smooth, comfortable, and positive patient experience

What We're Looking For

Dental assisting experience is preferred, with at least one year of experience being ideal. However, we are also willing to train the right new graduate who has a great attitude and is eager to learn.

Candidates should have:

• Current Ohio dental radiology certification

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Excellent attention to detail

• A dependable and professional work ethic

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• A positive, team-first attitude

• Willingness to learn and accept feedback

• Ability to anticipate the needs of the doctor and patients

• Open Dental experience is a plus

• Experience with digital X-rays, CEREC, and iTero is a plus

Experience: Dental assisting experience preferred; exceptional new graduates are encouraged to apply
Preferred: Ohio Dental Radiology Certification
