Position Overview: The Alterations Specialist will be responsible for performing high-quality tailoring and garment modifications on men’s suits, jackets, pants, shirts, and outerwear. The ideal candidate will have experience working with fine fabrics and a strong understanding of luxury garment construction. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform alterations and tailoring on men’s garments with precision, including suits, trousers, shirts, and jackets

• Work with delicate, high-end fabrics (e.g., Italian wools, silks, linens) while preserving garment integrity

• Pin, fit, and mark garments according to client specifications or store standards

• Communicate effectively with clients and store staff regarding tailoring needs and timelines

• Maintain an organized, clean workspace and handle garments with care

• Meet deadlines while ensuring a high level of workmanship

• Collaborate with sales staff to provide fitting expertise and recommendations

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in tailoring, alterations, or garment construction

• Skilled in working with high-end fabrics and luxury menswear

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to exceptional craftsmanship

• Ability to operate industrial sewing machines and hand-stitching tools

• Professional demeanor and excellent communication skills

• Willingness to grow within the role and take on more responsibility as needed

Schedule & Availability:

• Position offers flexibility between part-time and full-time, depending on demand and workload

• Availability during store hours (including some weekends) is preferred
