Duties and Responsibilities

  • Identify and cultivate new sales opportunities through networking and field marketing.
  • Visit potential and current clients to present and promote company offerings ensuring strong market penetration.
  • Engage in door-to-door selling in designated territories, with a focus on maximizing customer base.
  • Conduct effective sales presentations tailored to customer needs to drive sales growth.
  • Build solid, long-term customer relationships by providing top-notch follow-up service.
  • Meet and exceed assigned sales targets by effectively utilizing sales tactics and strategies.
  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of industry trends and competitor activity to suggest necessary shifts in strategies.
  • Prepare and submit timely and accurate reports of sales performance and territory management activities.
  • Work closely with the sales team and other departments to foster a collaborative environment that ensures overall business success.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance sales skills and product knowledge.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Outside Sales Representative or similar sales role; experience in home tech solutions is a plus.
  • Demonstrable ability to develop strategies for increased sales and meeting sales quotas.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and build rapport with clients.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and a self-starter attitude to independently manage workload and client relationships.
  • Capability to work effectively under pressure and adapt quickly in dynamic business environments.
  • A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively across the assigned territory.
  • Physical ability to travel and conduct face-to-face interactions with potential clients, including carrying promotional material and product samples.
  • A positive attitude and resilience in dealing with client rejections.
  • High School Diploma; further education or certification in sales or marketing would be advantageous.
