Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular client assessments to determine their treatment needs and suitable intervention strategies.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans for clients, setting clear goals and objectives.
  • Implement therapy sessions effectively in one-on-one or group settings, adapting techniques as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with all applicable laws and standards.
  • Communicate regularly with clients and their families to provide updates on progress and receive feedback.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize treatment approaches and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings.
  • Stay informed about new advancements and best practices in the field of clinical therapy through continuous education and professional development.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of therapy interventions, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure progress remains consistent and goal-focused.
  • Provide crisis intervention as necessary and in accordance with professional standards and workplace guidelines.
  • Advocate for client access to community resources and support, facilitating referrals when appropriate to enhance the support network surrounding the client.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Valid state license as a clinical therapist or equivalent certifications.
  • A minimum of 2 years of direct experience in a clinical therapy setting.
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, mastery in both verbal and written forms.
  • Strong understanding of therapy practices and confidentiality obligations.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement clinical treatment plans.
  • High proficiency in handling mental health issues, with a compassionate and patient-focused approach.
  • Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a collaborative team environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and skills enhancement.
