Cal Paso Solar Electric is excited to announce an opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Work From Home (WFH) Information Data Entry Operator. This full-time, fully remote position offers the chance to be an integral part of our innovative team, contributing significantly to our administrative and data management processes. As an Information Data Entry Operator, you will be entrusted with the critical task of accurately entering and managing data that is essential to the operational success of Cal Paso Solar Electric.

The role is designed for individuals who thrive in a dynamic, virtual environment and who are committed to delivering exceptional accuracy in data handling. This position not only demands high attention to detail but also an ability to work independently with minimal supervision. As Cal Paso Solar Electric continues to grow, the data entry operator will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of our information systems, which in turn supports our business's overall efficiency and effectiveness.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Enter data from various source documents into the required electronic format with speed and accuracy.
  • Maintain detailed records of tasks, files, and progress.
  • Audit and validate data entries for accuracy and completeness.
  • Scan documents and print files when needed.
  • Respond to information requests from authorised members and provide data insights.
  • Regularly update and maintain administrative activities to ensure complete and accurate records.
  • Ensure data privacy and confidentiality procedures are followed.
  • Research and obtain further information for incomplete documents.
  • Review discrepancies in data received and request clarification or additional information.
  • Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations, and perform backup operations.
  • Comply with all data integrity and security policies, ensuring that data is handled in a secure and confidential manner.
  • Participate in scheduled meetings and training sessions to improve data management processes.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a data entry operator or similar role.
  • Excellent typing skills with attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Experience with MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word, specifically).
  • Familiarity with administrative duties and document management systems.
  • Ability to work independently and manage one’s time effectively.
  • Possession of a reliable computer and a high-speed internet connection suitable for handling large files and data.
  • Excellent understanding of data confidentiality principles.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize work.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • High school diploma; additional computer training or certification will be considered a plus.
