Position: Embroidery Quality Control Specialist

Reports To: Director of Quality and Warehouse

Job Summary
The Embroidery QC Specialist is responsible for inspecting finished embroidered products to ensure they meet company quality standards. This role plays a key part in maintaining consistency, accuracy, and overall product excellence before items are approved for shipment.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect embroidered items (hats, garments, etc.) for quality, placement, and accuracy
Identify and flag defects such as:
Loose or broken threads
Incorrect stitch count or density
Misaligned or crooked designs
Incorrect thread colors
Fabric damage, puckering, or hoop marks
Compare finished products against approved samples and artwork
Trim threads and perform minor clean-up when needed
Separate defective items for rework or rejection
Communicate quality issues to production and embroidery operators
Track and report recurring defects or trends
Ensure all products meet standards before moving to packing/shipping
Qualifications
Previous experience in embroidery, sewing, or textile production preferred
Strong attention to detail and ability to spot small imperfections
Ability to follow quality standards and production guidelines
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Good communication and teamwork skills
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for long periods
Good eyesight and attention to fine detail
Ability to handle and inspect small items
Compensation: $21 per hour
