Position: Quality Assurance Auditor

Employment Type: Full-Time / In-House / 4 10 hour shift
Shift: Thursday - Sunday 6am - 4pm
Job Summary:
The Quality Assurance Auditor ensures that products, processes, and systems meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements. This role involves conducting audits, identifying non-conformities, and recommending corrective actions to uphold the quality and consistency of products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
Auditing and Inspections:
Perform routine quality audits on production lines, raw materials, and finished products.
Verify compliance with company policies, industry standards, and customer requirements.
Inspect and test materials and products using measurement tools and equipment.
Documentation and Reporting:
Record findings, discrepancies, and non-conformities in detailed audit reports.
Prepare summary reports for management on audit results and corrective actions.
Corrective and Preventative Actions:
Identify quality issues and collaborate with relevant teams to develop solutions.
Follow up on corrective actions to ensure resolution and prevent recurrence.
Recommend improvements to processes, systems, or standards.
Process Monitoring:
Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality control procedures.
Verify that calibration of equipment is maintained and properly documented.
Informing and Compliance:
Assist in informing staff on quality standards and audit protocols.
Stay informed on regulatory changes and update processes as needed
Collaboration:
Work closely with production, warehouse, and inventory teams to address quality concerns.
Communicate findings and trends to Quality Assurance Manager and recommend process optimization.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or certification in quality management preferred (e.g., CQIA or CQI).
1-2 years experience in quality control, auditing, or manufacturing environments.
Apparel decoration experience preferred.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Familiarity with root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagrams).
Work Environment:
May require standing or walking for extended periods during inspections.
Exposure to manufacturing environments, including noise, dust, and varying temperatures
