Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Entry-Level Accounting Clerk to join our finance team. This role is responsible for supporting daily accounting operations, including data entry, record keeping, and assisting with financial reporting. The ideal candidate is organized, eager to learn, and has a basic understanding of accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enter financial data into accounting software accurately and in a timely manner.

• Assist with processing accounts payable and accounts receivable.

• Match invoices to purchase orders and receipts.

• Prepare bank deposits and reconcile bank statements.

• Maintain and organize digital and physical financial records.

• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports.

• Respond to vendor and customer inquiries professionally.

• Provide general administrative support to the accounting department.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field required

• Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Suite (especially Excel/Sheets)Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Good organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive financial information.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Willingness to learn and grow professionally.

• Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment.

Preferred Skills (Not Required):

• Internship or previous experience in a finance or office environment

• Familiarity with ERP systems or cloud-based accounting tools

Work Environment:

• Office setting, standard Monday–Friday schedule

• May require occasional overtime during end-of-month or tax reporting periods

Compensation: $22-25 an hour
