What You’ll Be Doing
- Inspect & identify: Conduct thorough assessments—visual, moisture mapping, and sampling—to pinpoint mold sources.
- Engineer containment: Set up negative-air machines, poly barriers, and HEPA systems to isolate the work zone.
- Execute safe removal: Scrub, HEPA-vacuum, and perform abrasive or chemical treatments on infested materials.
- Perform clearance testing: Verify air and surface samples meet industry-leading standards before sign-off.
- Record & report: Maintain detailed logs, photos, and reports for clients and insurance partners.
- Coach clients: Explain health implications, remediation steps, and post-remediation prevention tips.
- Collaborate: Partner with water-damage techs, project managers, and industrial hygienists for seamless jobs.
What You Bring
- IICRC-certified (AMRT/MRST) or equivalent mold-remediation credentials
- Strong grasp of EPA, OSHA and local environmental regulations
- Rigorous attention to detail & quality control
- Physical stamina & comfort working in confined, sometimes messy, environments
- Excellent communication: you put anxious homeowners and managers at ease
- Passion for health-focused restoration and continuous skill-building
