Part-Time Unarmed Security Guard – Tacoma, WA (Graveyard Shift) Hiring Immediately!
We are seeking reliable and professional individuals for a Part-Time Unarmed Security Guard position in the Tacoma area. This position is for the graveyard shift (10:00 PM – 6:00 AM). Applicants with or without an active Washington State Guard Card are welcome to apply; an active guard card is a plus.
Qualified candidates must have a valid driver’s license, a reliable personal vehicle with insurance, and the ability to read and write English. Basic knowledge of mobile apps and simple report writing is required for daily activity logs and incident reporting. Applicants must be professional, dependable, alert during scheduled hours, and able to consistently report for assigned shifts.
Candidates should have verifiable work history and references, and be ready to begin work upon successful completion of the hiring and selection process. Resumes are encouraged but not required.

General, Basic, and Minimum Requirements – Unarmed Security Guard (Washington State)
Ability to walk, stand, and patrol for extended periods of time during assigned shifts.
Ability to climb stairs, navigate uneven surfaces, and access multiple levels of a property as part of routine patrol duties.
Ability to work outdoors and in various weather conditions, including rain, cold, or other inclement weather common in Washington State.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining professionalism and situational awareness.
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, with clients, the public, and company management.
Ability to observe, identify, and report suspicious activity or safety concerns in a clear and timely manner.
Ability to complete basic written and digital reports, including daily activity logs and incident reports.
Ability to safely operate a personal vehicle (POV) or assigned company vehicle when required for patrol duties.
Ability to use basic mobile applications and electronic reporting systems required for security operations.
Ability to maintain a professional appearance, demeanor, and customer-service-oriented attitude when interacting with the public or clients.
Ability to remain alert, attentive, and awake during all scheduled work hours, particularly during overnight shifts.
Ability to apply verbal de-escalation methods and conflict resolution techniques when interacting with individuals on the property.
Must maintain reliable attendance and punctuality for all scheduled shifts.
Must comply with all company policies, site-specific procedures, and safety protocols.
