Security Officers are responsible for protecting people and property through proactive patrols, clear communication, and accurate documentation. While both positions share core responsibilities, the day shift role includes increased public interaction, verbal de‑escalation, and continuous foot patrols within a designated area of control. Officers must be able to work independently, remain alert throughout the shift, and uphold the highest standards of professionalism.
Applicants must meet all of the following:
Minimum 18 years of age
Valid driver’s license
Clean background history
Verified professional references
Ability to walk extended distances and climb stairs
Comfortable working independently during overnight hours
Ability to work outdoors and in inclement weather
Strong ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Must be able to read, write, and complete reports in English
Must own and maintain a reliable mobile phone
Current Washington State Security Guard License or ability to obtain one immediately
Maintain a clean, professional appearance
Conduct scheduled patrols and site security checks
Maintain a visible, professional presence at all times
Observe, report, and document incidents accurately
Complete required activity logs and incident reports
Communicate professionally with supervisors and clients
Respond appropriately to security concerns and emergencies
Professional uniform provided
