$22-27 per hour, based on experience and credentialling

Position Overview: Seeking an experienced dental assistant with CAD/CAM training – or willing to be trained in in-house lab skills- to work alongside our doctor, and provide clinically excellent dentistry in a true team environment while helping the whole practice flow beautifully.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare patients and assist during procedures: explain procedures and answer patient questions, and assist the doctor during procedures.
Prepare equipment: Prepare and sterilize all necessary equipment for procedures.
Provide instructions: Provide patients with instructions for oral healthcare procedures and at-home care.
Review patient records: Review patient health histories and document medications and medical conditions. Chart treatment recommended by the doctor accurately.
Take intra-oral images, X-rays, photos, and CBCTs, and upload them to patient charts—enjoy a fully digital workflow from start to finish.
Assist in CEREC crown design, stain, and glaze under the direction of our master-skilled dentist.
Be a team player. Participate fully in team meetings. Help team members throughout the day. Pay close attention to the daily schedule. Put patient treatment first. Have fun!
Qualifications and Skills
Preferred: at least 3 years’ experience as a chairside dental assistant in a busy practice.
Dental X-ray/radiology license – a must-have.
CEREC or CAD/CAM experience preferred.
Strong vocabulary and communication skills.
High school graduate and above level of education.
A knowledge of medical and dental terminology.
DANB certified preferred.
EFDA preferred – or willingness to attain.
