This role is ideal for someone dedicated to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in a variety of settings. Located in vibrant Atlanta, Georgia, this job requires a hands-on approach to ensure high standards of cleanliness and sanitation are met daily. Please note, this position is not a remote job and requires physical presence at the designated location.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Daily cleaning and sanitation of restrooms, offices, and common areas
• Trash removal and liner replacement
• Floor care duties including vacuuming, mopping and maintenance of VCT (Vinyl Composition Tile) flooring
• Cleaning glass surfaces and other high-touch areas to maintain hygiene standards
• Ensure that all cleaning equipment and materials are maintained in a safe, clean, and orderly condition
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards observed in the workplace
• Adhere to cleaning schedules and routines to provide a consistently clean environment
• Use cleaning solutions and equipment properly to avoid damage or unnecessary wear and tear
• Assist in the setup, takedown, and cleanup of special events or meetings
• Maintain stock level of cleaning supplies and reordering as necessary

Requirements

• Previous experience in cleaning or custodial work preferred
• Familiarity with cleaning supplies and equipment
• Able to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods
• Strong attention to detail and pride in providing a beautiful environment
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Knowledge of workplace safety and handling of cleaning chemicals
• Reliability and consistency in job performance
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Punctuality and a strong work ethic
• Effective communication skills
