This role is ideal for those seeking a consistent, but limited number of work hours in their schedule. It is important to note this is not a remote position as the nature of the job requires direct, hands-on involvement.

As a key member of our janitorial staff, you will play an integral role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our facilities. This position requires a committed individual who can operate independently, managing their tasks efficiently during the 2-hour daily work window. The environment you will be contributing to is one where every detail counts towards creating safe and welcoming spaces for all staff and visitors.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Daily cleaning and sanitization of restrooms, ensuring they are hygienic and stocked.
• Regular cleaning of offices including dusting and wiping surfaces to maintain a clean environment.
• Maintaining cleanliness in common areas to enhance a professional and tidy space.
• Trash removal from various areas followed by liner replacement to manage waste effectively.
• Floor care duties, which include vacuuming carpets, mopping floors, and maintenance of Vinyl Composition Tile (VCT) flooring.
• Cleaning of glass surfaces to keep them streak-free and clear.
• Frequent sanitizing of high-touch areas to reduce the risk of germ transmission.

Requirements

• Proven experience or willingness to engage in janitorial duties with attention to detail.
• Ability to follow a strict schedule and work efficiently within the allocated 2 hours per day.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently without constant supervision.
• Capability to handle physical activities that are a regular part of cleaning tasks.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies, including proper storage and usage methods.
• Demonstrated reliability and punctuality in previous positions.
