Disinfectant Solutions of Atlanta is currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Part-Time Custodian. This position is pivotal in maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of our facilities. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and is committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment for all staff and visitors. This is a physical job that requires being on your feet, managing responsibilities efficiently, and handling various cleaning duties. It is important to note that this role is based onsite and is not a remote opportunity.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Regularly sweep, mop, and vacuum all facility floors.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms using established practices and procedures.
• Ensure all windows and glass surfaces are wiped and kept clear.
• Collect and dispose of trash and recycling from bins and containers.
• Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
• Monitor building security and safety by performing tasks such as locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use to ensure hazards are not created.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
• Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies either manually or by using hand trucks.
• Mow and trim lawns and shrubbery, using mowers and hand and power trimmers, and clear debris from grounds.
• Request supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.
• Assist with setup and tear-down of events and meetings.
• Report needs for major repairs to supervisor or maintenance staff.
• Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures, and report all unsafe activities to supervisor
