A leading oral surgery practice with 3 locations in Houston is seeking a skilled and motivated Associate Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon to join our growing team.  We offer a high-volume, referral-driven practice with a full scope of oral surgery procedures, modern technology, and a collaborative environment.  This is a career-defining opportunity with a clear path to partnership or equity ownership for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform full-scope oral and maxillofacial surgery, including:
    • Wisdom tooth removal
    • Dental implants and bone grafting
    • IV sedation/general anesthesia
    • Pathology and biopsies
    • Orthognathic surgery (if applicable)
    • TMJ and facial trauma (if applicable)
  • Provide compassionate, patient-centered care and build strong referral relationships
  • Maintain clear, accurate, and timely patient records and documentation
  • Participate in continuing education, staff training, and professional development
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain a high standard of care and efficiency

Qualifications:

  • DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school
  • Completion of an U.S.-accredited oral & maxillofacial surgery residency program
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible (ABOMS)
  • Active Texas dental license or eligibility to obtain
  • Current DEA registration and sedation permit (or eligibility)
  • IV sedation
  • Excellent surgical skills, patient communication, and bedside manner
  • Commitment to ethical practice and long-term growth within the team
