Hospice Chaplain/Volunteer Coordinator

Salary Range:  $30.00 - $35.00 hour

You will participate and work with a team to deliver hands-on, compassionate, end of life care while supporting patients, family members, and other community caregivers as they navigate the complexities of their journey.

Position Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's from an accredited school of theology or equivalent, or Master's in Counseling or Master's in Social Work (BD, Mdiv or equivalent theological degree).
  2. Experience working with death and dying, individuals/family/caregiver.
  3. Ability to work as member of interdisciplinary team/group.
  4. Comfort in an interfaith setting.
  5. Ability to accept different lifestyles, cultures, beliefs, and values.
  6. Ability to network with community clergy and congregations.
  7. Serves as an integral member of the interdisciplinary group amid various settings: home care, respite, inpatient, bereavement and/or administrative office duties.
  8. Knowledge of and commitment to hospice philosophy of care.
  9. Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state/or organization requirements and is in good working order.
  10. Hospice/ experience preferred.
