Medical Social Worker - M.S.W (Hospice)/Bereavement Coordinator

Salary Range:  $43.00 - $46.00 hour

You will participate and work with a team to deliver hands-on, compassionate, end of life care while supporting patients, family members, and other community caregivers as they navigate the complexities of their journey.

Position Qualifications

  1. (A) Has a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from a school of social work accredited by the Council on Social Work Education; or (B) Has a baccalaureate degree in social work from an institution accredited by the Council on Social Work Education; or a baccalaureate degree in psychology, sociology, or other field related to social work and is supervised by an MSW as described in paragraph (b)(3)(i)(A) of this section; and
  2. Minimum of one year’s experience in health care, hospice experience preferred.   Understands hospice philosophy, and issues of death/dying.
  3. Experience in hospice care preferred.
  4. Demonstrates good verbal and written communication, and organization skills.
  5. Possesses and maintains current CPR Certification.
  6. Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state/or organization requirements and is in good working order.
