Position Overview: A collaborative opportunity to protect vital healthcare systems and sensitive patient data through hands-on security operations. This role offers significant growth potential while working alongside senior security professionals in our dynamic healthcare environment. Core Qualifications:

• Foundational knowledge of cybersecurity principles and defense strategies 
• Basic familiarity with security platforms (SIEM, EDR, DLP) 
• Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, firewalls) 
• CompTIA Security+ certification or equivalent security certification required 
• 2+ years of IT or security experience desired 
• Industry certifications such as CrowdStrike Falcon Administrator or Threat Hunter preferred

Key Responsibilities:

Protection Domain

• Assist in managing security endpoint configurations across cloud and on-premises environments
• Support identity protection policy implementation with focus on healthcare applications
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and patch management workflows
• Configure and monitor DLP policies for data protection and data exfiltration
• Support device profiling and network segmentation initiatives aligned with healthcare compliance

Detection & Analysis

• Investigate security alerts and coordinate responses across multiple platforms
• Partner with threat intelligence teams to monitor healthcare-specific threats
• Perform security log reviews for indicators of compromise
• Support threat-hunting activities within healthcare environments

Incident Response

• Support security incident response triage with a focus on patient care continuity
• Assist with threat containment and system recovery procedures, with oversight from senior staff
• Document incident investigations and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations
• Participate in incident response exercises and process improvements
