Salary Range:  $70000 - $85000 year

We are looking for an Account Executive to grow our hospice program in Cleveland and build lasting partnerships.

Role OverviewAs our Account Executive, Hospice, you’ll connect hospitals, physicians and community organizations with high-quality hospice care. You’ll develop relationships, share expertise, and guide partners through the referral process. Your work will directly impact patient experience and family support at a critical time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new referral sources across Northeast Ohio, including hospitals, clinics and senior living communities

  • Build trust with clinicians and community leaders through face-to-face meetings, presentations and educational events

  • Collaborate with clinical, operations and marketing teams to ensure seamless patient admissions and clear communication

  • Track referral and admission metrics, analyze trends and adjust your outreach strategy to meet census and revenue goals

  • Represent VNA of Ohio at health fairs, community events and professional meetings

  • Mentor and support junior sales staff, sharing best practices and insights

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business or related field (advanced degree a plus)

  • Minimum 2 years of hospice sales or business development experience, with a proven record of growing patient referrals

  • Deep understanding of hospice regulations, reimbursement and care models in Ohio

  • Strong communicator who can build rapport with clinicians, administrators and community leaders

  • Results-oriented mindset, comfortable working to clear performance targets

  • Familiarity with CRM systems (HCHB experience preferred) and data-driven decision making
