Key Responsibilities

    •    Perform professional teeth cleanings (scaling, polishing, and stain removal).

    •    Conduct periodontal assessments and provide deep cleaning (scaling and root planing) when necessary.

    •    Take and interpret dental X-rays.

    •    Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care.

    •    Apply fluoride treatments and dental sealants.

    •    Assess patients for signs of oral diseases and collaborate with the dentist on treatment plans.

    •    Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes.

    •    Ensure compliance with infection control and sterilization protocols.

    •    Provide a comfortable and reassuring experience for patients of all ages.

Qualifications & Skills

    •    Valid Florida Dental Hygienist license.

    •    Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program.

    •    Strong knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and technology.

    •    Excellent communication and patient education skills.

    •    Detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality patient care.

    •    Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dental practice.
