Luminous Dental is excited to announce an opening for a dedicated and skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic team. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a thriving dental practice known for its commitment to patient care and dental excellence. Located in the heart of our community, this position is not a remote job and requires a hands-on approach to patient care.

The successful candidate will be integral in providing high-quality dental care and will be actively involved in promoting oral health practices amongst our patients. As a cornerstone of our clinical team, you will play a pivotal role in the overall experience of our patients, ensuring their visit is comfortable, educational, and comprehensive.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct initial dental assessments and interpret dental radiographs
  • Perform dental prophylaxis, scaling, root planning and apply preventive materials
  • Educate patients on maintaining proper oral hygiene practices
  • Implement treatment plans prescribed by the dentist
  • Document patient dental history and treatment plans
  • Assist with the management of dental and medical emergencies
  • Build relationships with patients, making their comfort and trust a priority
  • Work collaboratively with the dental team to meet practice goals
  • Contribute positively to the team culture, promoting a happy and professional workplace
  • Participate in continuing education and training to stay abreast of the latest dental hygiene practices and technologies

Requirements

  • Valid Ohio state license for dental hygiene required
  • Certification in dental radiology
  • Current CPR certification
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene from an accredited program
