As the Cook at Marano’s d’asporto, you are the heart of the kitchen. Your role is more than just preparing food—you are responsible for ensuring that every dish reflects our passion for quality, tradition, and innovation.  

Your Role as Cook:

As Cook, you oversee all aspects of the kitchen, from food preparation to staff management. Your leadership sets the standard for efficiency, cleanliness, and food quality. You are responsible for training staff, maintaining kitchen operations, and ensuring consistency in every dish served. 

Specific Responsibilities:

• Kitchen Operations: Ensure a smooth and organized workflow during all shifts. 
• Food Quality Control: Oversee food preparation, plating, and portion control. 
• Staff Training & Leadership: Train and mentor kitchen staff to maintain high standards. 
• Inventory & Ordering: Manage ingredient stock levels and place timely orders. 
• Food Safety & Sanitation: Enforce proper food handling, storage, and kitchen hygiene. 
• Guest Satisfaction: Address food-related complaints and ensure customer satisfaction. 
• Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all kitchen tools and equipment are in top working condition.
