We are looking for a dedicated Yacht Commissioning Team Member to help ensure every yacht we deliver exceeds our customers' expectations.

As a Yacht Commissioning Team Member, you will play a critical role in preparing new yachts for delivery. This position is responsible for ensuring each yacht is built to the highest standards, fully equipped, thoroughly tested, and ready for its new owner.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

• Review yacht designs, specifications, and custom orders to ensure accurate installation and completion.
• Inspect workmanship, materials, equipment, and vessel systems throughout the commissioning process.
• Coordinate and adapt to design changes, upgrades, and customer requests as projects evolve.
• Oversee sea trials and system testing to verify all mechanical, electrical, and onboard systems perform properly.
• Ensure all required equipment, accessories, and customer options are installed and operational.
• Supervise the final delivery process, including completion of warranties, manuals, and owner documentation.
• Work closely with and report directly to the ACY Director of Commissioning.
• Meet with new yacht owners to provide a thorough orientation on their vessel's systems, operation, and maintenance while delivering an exceptional ownership experience.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work Monday through Friday, with occasional evenings or weekends as needed.
• Willingness to travel frequently throughout the year, including trips to Florida and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Most work weeks are based in and around Annapolis, Maryland.
• Valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card or the ability to obtain one after employment.

Preferred:

• Previous experience in the yacht, boating, marina, or marine industry.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
