Role: Accounting Manager

We’re growing and looking to add an experienced Accounting Manager to join our finance team in Austin, Texas. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants their work to support real change in people’s lives.

Responsibilities

• Own the general ledger and manage the month-end close process
• Prepare and analyze accurate, timely financial statements
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and healthcare regulations
• Work with the insurance billing team to ensure all claims are accurately and timely submitted
• Process and record bi-weekly payroll accurately and on schedule
• Process and record contractor payments
• Prepare and send the Daily Cash Report to the executive team
• Process facility billing at the end of each month, including any chargebacks
• Oversee accounting systems and recommend process improvements
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax professionals
• Support leadership with financial insights and strategic planning

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting experience (healthcare experience preferred)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA preferred but not required
• Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls
• Proficiency with QuickBooks and eCW EMR software preferred
• High attention to detail, strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
