Role: Accounting Manager

We’re growing and looking to add an experienced Accounting Manager to join our finance team in Austin, Texas. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants their work to support real change in people’s lives.
Responsibilities
- Own the general ledger and manage the month-end close process
- Prepare and analyze accurate, timely financial statements
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and healthcare regulations
- Work with the insurance billing team to ensure all claims are accurately and timely submitted
- Process and record bi-weekly payroll accurately and on schedule
- Process and record contractor payments
- Prepare and send the Daily Cash Report to the executive team
- Process facility billing at the end of each month, including any chargebacks
- Oversee accounting systems and recommend process improvements
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax professionals
- Support leadership with financial insights and strategic planning
Qualifications
- 5+ years of accounting experience (healthcare experience preferred)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA preferred but not required
- Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls
- Proficiency with QuickBooks and eCW EMR software preferred
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
