HVAC Regional Product Manager - Texas and West Coast

Position Summary:

Under the direction of the National HVAC Product Manager, this regional role drives growth, strengthens customer relationships, and supports General Insulation’s Texas and West Coast locations through hands-on engagement, strategic planning, and sales leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Travel to branches to conduct joint sales calls, identify new opportunities, and model effective sales behaviors.
  • Coach salespeople on territory strategy, relationship-building, and communication tailored to individual strengths and market needs.
  • Cultivate and expand relationships with major regional and national customers.•Identify emerging markets, competitor activity, and trends to advise company strategy.
  • Attend trade shows, customer events, trainings, and industry functions to promote GIC’s brand, uncover opportunities and maintain a strong presence within the market.
  • Develop 90-day action plans with measurable targets and milestones.
  • Deliver actionable insights to Regional VPs and Branch GMs to support continuous improvement.•Plan and manage the HVAC product portfolio to increase brand awareness, market presence, and revenue.
  • Participate in vendor negotiations and maintain strong manufacturer relationships in coordination with Sales and Marketing leadership.
  • Educate branches on new product lines, installation procedures, and equipment.
  • Collaborate with VPs and GMs on budgets and communicate performance updates to senior management.
  • Uphold GIC’s safety standards and maintain accurate expense records.

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience.
  • Produce a comprehensive overview of HVAC market growth and customer development in your location.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and sales planning skills.
  • Ability and willingness to travel frequently and work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as needed. 
  • Valid driver’s license required.
