About the role:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join our team and drive sales growth. If you are passionate about construction and have a proven track record in sales and business development, we want to hear from you.
Job Requirements:
- Effectively manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to creative deal solutions to client onboarding.
- Aggressively generate revenue from new sales through cold calling and other prospecting strategies.
- Develop and deploy sound account development strategies to nurture and grow client relationships.
- Create and adhere to a well-researched client development plan, ensuring a deep understanding of client needs and goals.
- Maintain excellent knowledge of manufacturers, installation procedures, and processes related to panelized construction.
- Work under the direction of the Director of Sales and Marketing for the commercial and residential division.
- Be responsible for strategic partnerships and lead necessary vendor negotiations in conjunction with the Director of Sales and Marketing.
- Communicate pertinent projects, sales, and marketing information to senior management and branch location to ensure alignment and collaboration.
- Develop quarterly action plans and target accounts in conjunction with the Director of Sales and Marketing to achieve sales objectives.
- Be willing to travel as required/assigned using the VP travel calendar to plan a 90 day travel schedule.
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or a related field (preferred)
- Must possess excellent communication skills with customers, teammates, and employees at all levels of the company.
- Proven track record in sales and business development, particularly in the construction industry.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
- Self-motivated and results driven.
Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel as required.
