Duties and Responsibilities

  • Identify potential business opportunities by analyzing the market trends and competitors’ activities.
  • Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships throughout the specified territory.
  • Conduct cold calls and face-to-face meetings with prospective clients to generate interest and business opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services, adapting sales tactics according to customer needs and responses.
  • Negotiate contracts with the aim of maximizing profits while fostering trust and ongoing partnership.
  • Create detailed business plans to facilitate the attainment of goals and quotas.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from finding a potential client to securing a deal.
  • Earn trust and maintain long-term relationships with clients resulting in repeat business.
  • Unearth new sales opportunities through networking and turn them into long-term partnerships.
  • Report on the status of current accounts and transactions, providing detailed updates to the sales team and leadership at regular intervals.
  • Monitor the market and competitor products to identify new enhancements or adjustments required in the strategy of the company's offerings.
  • Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events to build network and strengthen professional market knowledge.
  • Provide professional after-sales support to enhance customers’ dedication and to ensure ongoing contracts and referrals.
  • Respond to complaints and resolve issues to the customer’s satisfaction with the aim of preserving the company’s reputation.
  • Keep informed of new products and services and undertake continuous training to maintain excellence in sales strategies.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in quota carrying and achieving a sales figure that aligns with company goals.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills that resonate well during presentations and meetings.
  • Highly detail-oriented with capabilities to operate and excel in a structured and competitive industry environment.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and targets while juggling multiple priorities.
  • Associates degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred but not required.
  • Prior experience in an outside sales environment, preferably in the insulation or related industry.
  • Ability to create and deliver compelling, persuasive sales presentations to a variety of audiences.
  • Strong listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Adept at leveraging CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite to manage work efficiently.
  • Capability to work autonomously while maintaining close communication with management and team members.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the territory or region assigned.
  • A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for transportation.
  • A strong moral compass and the consistent ability to foster trust and respect in all dealings.
  • Knowledge of the industry’s legal rules and guidelines with a keen ability to navigate and implement these during sales processes.
