About Us:

San Joaquin Valley Youth For Christ (YFC) is a non-denominational Christian ministry reaching youth. This position focuses on incarcerated and post-incarcerated individuals, helping them grow in faith and life. We partner with local churches and community organizations to make a lasting impact in the San Joaquin Valley.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Youth Ministry Coordinator to mentor and disciple youth (ages 11–19), lead volunteers, and oversee programs in juvenile justice and post-incarceration settings. This part-time role combines ministry leadership, program administration, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mentor youth and lead ministry programs.
• Recruit, train, and support volunteers.
• Build relationships with youth, families, and facility partners.
• Manage scheduling, reporting, and program documentation.
• Support fundraising and outreach efforts.
• Model Christian values and spiritual leadership.

Qualifications:

• Strong personal commitment to the Christian faith.
• Experience working with youth, preferably at-risk or justice-involved.
• Leadership and volunteer management experience.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Requirements:

• Pass background checks and child safety clearances.
• Willingness to travel across the San Joaquin Valley.
